Under hard braking, OEM rubber brake lines expand slightly under hydraulic pressure, creating a spongy, vague pedal feel. Braided stainless steel brake lines eliminate that expansion entirely, giving you a firmer, more consistent pedal and more precise modulation whether you're on the street, the track, or the trail.

Why Upgrade to Stainless Braided Brake Lines?

Firmer pedal feel: Stainless overbraid prevents the rubber inner hose from ballooning under pressure. The difference is immediately noticeable — especially under repeated hard braking where rubber lines heat-soak and soften further.

Longer service life: OEM rubber lines crack, dry rot, and degrade over time — especially in UV-heavy climates. Stainless braided lines outlast the vehicle in most cases.

Lift compatibility: If you've added a lift kit, your factory brake lines may be too short and could stretch or fail under full droop. Extended-length brake line kits are a required safety upgrade on any lifted truck or Jeep.

OEM Length vs. Extended Length

If your vehicle is stock height, OEM-length replacements are a direct swap — no modification needed. If you're running a lift of 2 inches or more, you need extended-length lines sized to your lift. Most kits are offered in +2", +4", and +6" extensions. Running a 4" lift with stock-length lines is a safety hazard — don't do it.
